Meet Tanisha Roberts, Owner & Operator of Rebellious Hair Care. Rebellious Hair Care was created out of Tanisha’s own personal experience with hair loss.
In November 2014, Tanisha experienced traction alopecia from tight braids due to a sew-in. After wearing the style for only ten days, she had it removed due to excessive soreness of her scalp. Upon removal, her hair began coming out in clumps around her crown. Her hair continued to come out days after the removal, resulting in a soft ball sized bald spot in her crown. Along with the bald spot, she had excessive hair shed, which left her with much less density than she had before this install.
In her anguish, she began to research natural oils, herbs, & home remedies, that would regrow her hair. In her research, she found several herbs that would help strengthen her hair from the root. This combined with natural oils, helped to regrow the bald spot & thinning areas. After consistent use of this oil, and good hair care practices, Tanisha’s hair is back full & healthy.
She also began making beard oil, to help men grow & keep their beards healthy & strong. Thus the creation of Rebellious Beard.
